Ink, watercolour and gouache on cardboard. ‘The Cartway, Bridgnorth’, urban sketch.

The Cardboard Collective exhibition currently at the Courtyard Gallery in Solihull includes one of my urban sketches (above). Due to tour various venues in Birmingham throughout the summer.

I also have a painting at the Newhampton Arts Centre ‘Paint the Day’ exhibition, on display until 29th June.

RBSA Gallery

I spent Saturday at a screen printing workshop led by Karoline Rerrie at the RBSA in Birmingham. It’s been a while since I did any printing using this technique, so it was a revelation after the complications of reduction linocuts. A delight; direct, immediate and colourful. And Karoline’s own work is fabulous.
Here is my green man.
